What is a Guardian Home?
Looking for Guardian Homes- Dogs in need below!
Guardians provide a home to one of our babies (for FREE!).
The dog would legally belong to The Poodle Co. but would live with you. Once the dog was retired from our program, they would legally become your pet.
What we need from you:
*Basic knowledge of dog care and training (or willing to learn or take a class)
*Live in or around an hour away from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
*Willing to help with transportation during breeding/whelping and be willing to work with us.
*Live in your own home, with a fenced back yard, and plan to stay there for the next 3+ years
*Be willing to cover all normal expenses for the dog (food, vet, tick/flea/heart worm meds, grooming etc)
* Be okay with her being at our home during whelping/raising of litters 8 weeks + - at a time.
*Be okay with him being used for breeding during the year
Females will have 3/4 litters before they retired, depending on how they do and an okay from the vet. We will cover all breeding/whelping related expenses. Males will/can be used throughout the year for 2-4 days at a time.
At the end of their two year reproductive time frame (female) they will be legally given to you!

Guardian Needed
River will have two more litters in 2025/2026 and will be retired by end of 2026. We would love for her to transition into a new home now, so she can begin bonding with her forever family. She is a two year old moyen poodle (22lbs). River is an excellent mother and friend to our other dogs. She is a true 'velcro' dog and LOVES people including children. House trained and kennel trained. She will do well with other dogs and children. She does not do well with cats, and enjoys teasing ours. She won't hurt them, just enjoys the chase. She is an escape artist and would do best with a 6ft fence. She is trained on an electric fence that would come with her. Mabel is an Australian Labradoodle (Poodle, Labrador, Cocker Spaniel). She will have three litters if all goes as planned before she retires from our program. She is house trained and kennel trained. She can be shy with new people, but once she knows you she is glued to your side! She loves to be near to her people. She does good with our other dogs and cats.
